When You’re Against a Wall, You Need a Hero!

Running a business is hard. Keeping everyone on the same page and working together can seem impossible.

Plan-It Documents is here to save the day!

One of my all-time favorite superheroes is Wonder Woman.  For a lot of reasons, I mean the cool invisible jet, the lasso of truth, and the ability to spin around quickly for a wardrobe change (seriously, that would save me sooo much time!).

But all in all, Wonder Woman is my favorite because she helps people. Not only just in the 'fight everyone, be the last guy standing' kinda way.  But in the 'I'm going to help you and care for you and help you stand on your own' kinda way.

That is Plan-It Documents!

We wanna help organizations fight against risks, fraud, communication breakdowns, and toxicity.  But we're equally passionate about making sure your organization feels nurtured, heard, and has the ability to continue its greatness after 'our' work is done.

Plan-It Documents is here for you, in the end, we're celebrating victories... together.

Now if I could only remember where I parked that invisible jet....

What People Are Saying About Plan-It Documents

"Heather's professionalism, insights and ability to simplify everything we do into a cohesive set of policies and procedures was essential to our building a more compliant framework and repeatable system for meeting our funders expectations and stringent government regulations. Who would have ever thought that developing these important documents could be fun, but Heather sure made it so!"

— Karl LaPan- NIIC President

“Heather is friendly and organized. I would recommend her to other businesses that need help organizing a new project, with documentation, or with any problem-solving. She is reliable and provided us with solutions in a timely manner. She took time to learn about our needs and help us find the best solutions. She did a great job helping document processes and setting up training with staff.”

—Abby Howard, Redemption House

"Heather did an excellent job on processes and a user agreement for Grow Nau. Heather has a detailed and comprehensive approach, provokes strategic thought, and delivers a user-friendly end product. I highly recommend working with her to get your business in order or make it more efficient!"

— Jamie Nau, Grow Nau

"Process and procedures aren't the fancy and flashy thing you think about as a business owner. While I am caught up in logos and web designs, Heather is always a great source of information to keep me and my business on the straight and narrow. She is a lifesaver for businesses owners like myself that are juggling so many roles and wearing so many hats. She is truly an expert in what she does."

— Christie Browning, Content By Request

By working together, we created a friendship. We worked hard, especially since we were on a tight timeframe to create the 10 documents, but we had a lot of laughs along the way.

—Jami Thomas, NIIC

What is it like to work with Plan-It Documents?

We understand that developing and writing new policies or procedures can be time consuming and frustrating.  Our mission at Plan-It Documents is to relieve you from all that frustration so you can do your 'awesome'.  Leave it with us and our easy straightforward process to achieve the policies and procedures your organization deserves.

Our Process

  • Consultation

Our consultation is focused on getting to know your organization and concerns. We spend time discussing what documents would work for your organization and what implementation would look like.

We discuss at length the issues and concerns you have in your organization, what are some risks that need mitigation, and how we can work within your organization.

  • 'Jam Session'

After signing on with Plan-It Documents, we hold a ‘Jam Session’ with our clients. This meeting is about getting down to the nuts and bolts of what needs to be addressed and how.

Much like a musical jam session, the purpose is a freeflowing exchange of ideas. At this point there are no bad ideas, some ideas will be great, some not so much.

  • First Draft

Based on the discussion had at the ‘Jam Session’ a first draft is created. Some holes and questions to be expected in the draft.

Plan-It Documents holds a short review meeting. This will cover any questions or gaps in the document with you. This is a interactive feedback loop designed to create a sound document that reflects what’s actually happening in your organization.

While this step can be repeated as much as required, it is typically wrapped up in a ‘one and done’.

  • Finalize

A final draft is provided with the updates discussed in the draft meeting. The document is given a final review for errors, dated, and your logo added.

The final version of the document is ready for implementation within your organization.
